Town Launches Survey to Identify Business Needs and Investment Opportunities in Vegreville
The Town of Vegreville has launched a Business Needs & Opportunities Survey to gather feedback from residents and regional shoppers about the businesses, services, dining options and experiences they would realistically support in the community.
The survey is intended to provide the Town, existing businesses, entrepreneurs and prospective investors with a clearer understanding of local consumer demand and spending patterns.
Results from the survey will help the Town:
- Better understand how much household spending occurs locally, outside Vegreville and through online retailers;
- Identify products and services residents currently leave the community to access;
- Recognize potential opportunities for new businesses, local entrepreneurs, and home-based or mobile service providers;
- Support business attraction and investment-promotion efforts; and
- Inform conversations with existing businesses considering expansion or the introduction of new products and services.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Participants are encouraged to consider the products and services their households would realistically purchase or use, rather than businesses that may simply be desirable to have in the community.
Feedback from residents and regional consumers can provide valuable market intelligence, helping prospective entrepreneurs and investors better understand where unmet demand may exist within Vegreville and the surrounding trading area.
