Free WiFi Now Available at Pysanka Park Through Partnership with MCSnet
Vegreville, AB (May 20, 2025) -- Visitors to Vegreville’s most iconic attraction can now stay connected while enjoying the outdoors. Through an exciting partnership between the Town of Vegreville and MCSnet, Pysanka Park—home to the World’s Largest Freestanding Pysanka—now offers free Wi-Fi for all park visitors.
This new amenity supports the Town’s commitment to enhancing the visitor experience while also showcasing the region’s growing connectivity and technological infrastructure.
Based in St. Paul, MCSnet is one of Alberta’s largest rural, high-speed internet providers. A local, family-owned business since 1995, MCSnet proudly serves over 25,000 Albertans, with a strong focus on community partnerships and regional growth.
“We’re thrilled to partner with MCSnet to provide this valuable service to our residents and visitors. As a family-run business with deep community roots in the region, MCSnet exemplifies the strength of local partnerships and the economic vitality of rural Alberta. This collaboration is just one more example of how regional relationships are creating meaningful amenities and improving the quality of life for everyone who lives in or visits our town.”
